Our most asked questions for supports at the Croyde Ocean Triathlon
Jump to...

Are spectators allowed?

Yes, we absolutely love to welcome spectators to the event.  There’s plenty of opportunity to watch from the event arena itself, to walk down to the beach for the swim, or to head out towards Baggy Point to cheer your runner home. It is free to enter the Event Arena. If you want to volunteer, we would love to have you, just email us info@croydeocean.co.uk

We do ask that any dogs are kept on a lead in the event arena – we like to cheer our finishers in, not trip them up!

Will there be food / drinks on site?

Yes, we have food and drinks concessions in the event arena and there is a café at Putsborough open from 6.00am.

Are there showers?

Yes, there is a (cold)  outdoor shower near the beach entrance.

Are there toilets?

Yes, there is a large toilet block in Putsborough Beach Car Park. We will not provide additional toilets for spectators in the event village area.

Is there car parking available?

Yes, Putsborough Beach has a large independently run car park and currently charges £12 per car per day.  Free parking for season pass holders.

Where can I stay?

There are lots of B&B, hotel and campsite options available in Croyde and the surrounding area. Both Croyde and Woolacombe are nearby and are awash with accommodation and camp site.
